Hancock Hope House is located at 35 E. Pierson Street in Greenfield. It provides a drug free/alcohol free environment for individuals and families. It is the only homeless shelter in Hancock, Shelby and Rush Counties. They provide housing, food, clothing, life skill classes for men, women and families.
It is a “Temporary Working Shelter”. All residents must be employed, attend life skills classes, have a clean warrant check performed, not have any violations for child or sexual abuse and follow the shelter’s rules. Getting a GED is emphasized.
We collect blankets, pillows, and towels for this shelter.
